They are comprised of overhead and underground conducting lines of either copper or aluminium. In NZ these High Voltage (HV) transmission lines operate at kiloVoltages (kV) of 220kV and 350kV. (Transmission Line is not a topological network.) (Spans are a sub-set of the Transmission Lines data set. Spans record the structure from / to and the length between the structures).
